Lesson 1.2: Setting Access Options, Part 1

   

 

 

1.

Open Microsoft Access 2003

Open 1-2 Sample from the Exercise Files folder.

 

 

 

3.

Click the Tools menu and click Options.

 

 

 

4.

On the View tab, uncheck Startup Task Pane.

 

 

 

5.

On the General tab, change the Recently Used File List to any number you like.

 

 

 

6.

Click the Datasheet tab.

Change the default colours to anything you like.

 

 

 

7.

Next, change the font in the Datasheet tab.

 

 

 

8.

Click Apply and OK in the Options dialog.

 

 

 

13.

Switch to the Contacts Table.

 

 

 

14.

You should see your new font applied.

 

 

 

15.

Save your file as 1-2 Completed.

 

 

 

16.

Close Microsoft Access 2003.
