Another way to organize your database is to ensure fields can be indexed. This should only be used with smaller databases as it can slow Access down significantly.

 

First, you must tell Access what records you want in your index. To do this, you must open the table in design view and set Indexed property to Yes.

 

 

Close the table and save your changes. That’s it!
