Lesson 4.1: Creating a PivotTable

   

 

 

 

Microsoft Access 2003 has wizards for creating a lot of things, and PivotTables are no exception. First, switch to the Forms section of the main database window. Then, click the New button.

 

 

In the dialog that appears, choose PivotTable Wizard and choose the table that you want to use.

 

 

Once you click OK, you will be welcomed to the PivotTable Wizard. The first screen explains in detail what we’re about to do.

 

 

Once you click Next, you will be asked what fields you want to include.

 

 

Note that you can select fields from many different tables. Once you’re done, click Finish.
