Lesson 2.1: Customizing Tables

   

 

 

Every field in every table in every database has properties. In fact, nearly everything in the entire Access program has properties of some type to modify! To see the field properties of a certain field, you must first open a table in Design view:

 

 

Field properties are visible in the bottom half of Design view. Click each field name; each data type will have different properties that you can define to make the table contain exactly the data you want it to. We will explore Field Properties in depth later in this manual.
