The Control Wizard option in the Toolbox, when selected, will start the appropriate Wizard to guide you through setting up Option Groups, Combo Boxes, List Boxes, Command Buttons, and Subforms. It is a good idea to leave this toggled (indicated as active when it is orange in colour) to guide you through setting up a control until you reach a point where you are comfortable designing a control on your own.

To use the Control Wizard for a particular Option Group, Combo Box, List Box, Command Button, or Subform, make sure that the Control Wizard icon is active in the Toolbox. Click one of the five commands listed above, and then click and drag an area on the form canvas:

 

 

When the appropriate Wizard begins, follow the directions provided in the wizard to format your control.
