You can insert rows in a list by right clicking on a cell, and choosing Insert->Row from the menu. The new row will be inserted just above the row you right clicked on. This means that if you right click on the top row of the list, the insert ->row option will not be available (the top list contains the column headers, and any row above this will not be included in the list). When you have inserted a new row, you can add a new record by simply typing the values for each field into the cells in the new row.
