1.

Find two partners in your class.

Open Microsoft Office Outlook 2003.

 

 

2.

Right-click your calendar folder in the navigation pane and click Properties.

Click the Permissions tab.

Click Add.

Type your partners’ e-mail addresses.

 

 

3.

Ensure that the new user is selected in the top portion of the pane.

Set the permission level to Editor using the drop-down menu.

 

 

4.

Click OK twice.

 

 

5.

Click on your calendar folder.

 

 

6.

Click the Actions menu and click Plan a Meeting.

 

 

7.

Enter your partners as attendees. Set one as required and one as optional using the icons next to their names.

 

 

8.

Click the AutoPick Next button to find the next free time slot for all three people.

 

 

9.

Click Make Meeting.

 

 

10.

Type in Class BBQ for the subject. Fill out any information you want for notes.

 

 

11.

Click Send.

 

 

12.

Open your tasks folder.

Create a new task.

 

 

13.

For task subject, type Plan Class BBQ.

 

 

14.

Click the Assign Task button on the toolbar.

 

 

15.

Type in the name of one of your partners

 

 

16.

Send the task.
