Lesson 2.3: Public Folders

   

 

 

 

As you can see in the sample above, you can create folders of any type of item in a public folder. (This is, of course, provided that your system administrator has given you permission to create folders.)

 

The easiest way to create a new public folder is to right-click on it and click New Folder. (You can see an example on the left.) Of course, you can always use these commands:

-       Click the File menu, choose New, and choose Folder.

-       Click the File menu, choose Folder, and click New Folder.

 

Regardless of which command you use, you will have the same options you have when creating a normal folder:

 

 

 

Using this window, you can name the folder, specify its type, and confirm where you want it to be placed. Then, just click OK and your new folder will show up in the public folders list!
