Lesson 3.3: Information Management Features

   

 

  

Once you have Information Rights Management set up, you can set permissions in a new e-mail by clicking the File menu and clicking Permissions. (You can also click the permissions button on the toolbar, which looks like this: .) You can see in the figure on the right that options are pretty limited. You can choose unrestricted access (which will not use Information Rights Management) or you can click Do Not Forward. Do Not Forward means the recipient will not be able to use any editing, forwarding, or printing commands on your e-mail message.

 

You can also click Restrict Permission As to set what user on this computer can modify the restricted content. This can be useful if other people have profiles set up, to make sure you’re the only one who can view restricted content.
