SECTION 1
Lesson 1.5: Printing Your Files

In the top right hand corner of the Outlook screen, you’ll see a box that says, “Type a question for help. Regardless of where you type your question (to Clippy or using the question box) your answer will show up in a task pane. There will be several different kinds of help items that appear:

-       Outlook help: These are your standard help articles included with Outlook, so they are not updated.

-       Articles: These are located on the Microsoft Office Web site, so they may be updated unlike regular Outlook help items.

-       Demonstrations: These are links to videos on the Microsoft Office Web site. These videos will show you how to accomplish a specific task.

-       Training: These links are to online courses. These courses usually cover a specific topic (for example, organizing meetings), and may include audio and/or video as well as text.

-       Newsgroups: There may even be links to groups online talking about your question.

-       Downloads/Marketplace: Extra tools you can download and/or purchase to make tasks easier.

Here’s an overview of how you would use the “Type a question for help” box:

  1. Type a question in the box.
  2. Look at the results in the task pane.
  3. Click on the link that seems to be the most relevant. (In the figure above, a sample link is circled in yellow.)

That’s all there is to using the type a question box!
