SECTION 1
Lesson 1.5: Printing Your Files

There are a couple of other ways to access Help in Microsoft Office Outlook. If you press the F1 key, use the  icon, or click Help and choose Microsoft Office Outlook Help, the assistance pane will appear. It shows up in the same spot as help did in the last lesson. It also does a lot of the same things as the type a question box, only it’s a bit more complicated.

Here’s an overview of the parts of the assistance pane:

-       Search for box: type in a question and your answers will appear like magic!

-       Table of Contents: Access Outlook’s help topics in a table of contents form.

-       Microsoft Office Online: This section offers links to the Microsoft Office Web site.

-       Remember the different types of help in the task pane? Here’s direct links to assistance, training, communities, and downloads on the Microsoft Office Web site.

-       See also: some extra features, like how to contact Microsoft and how to change settings for online content.

So you can see how you could use the Office Assistant, the Type a Question dialog box or Outlook Help, or all three in different ways to help you use Outlook.
