Let’s turn
Clippy on. Click on the Help
menu and choose
Show Office Assistant.

Let’s change
the way Clippy looks. Right-click on Clippy and click on
Choose Assistant.
|

In the
Office Assistant Options window, click the
Next
button until you reach Merlin. Click
OK.

|
Merlin is
making an awful lot of noise and we’re trying to work!
Right-click on Merlin again, but this time click on
Options.
Uncheck Make Sounds
and click OK.

|

|
Let’s
left-click on Merlin so we can ask him a question. In the box
that pops up, type Flag an e-mail. Click
Search.
(If you look in the “Type a Question” box in the top right hand
corner, you’ll see your text has appeared there as well.)

The
Assistance Pane will pop up. Let’s look over the different types
of items you can choose from.

|

|
Nothing in
here looks very helpful. Let’s close the Assistance Pane using
the X
in its top right hand corner.

|
Press
F1
to bring up Outlook Help. Type Flag an e-mail in the search for
box and click the green arrow to go.
|
|
|
|
|
9.
|
The window
will change to show your search results. They’re probably the
same as before, so let’s close the assistance pane by using the
close button in its top right hand corner (the X).
