Make sure
Outlook is open. Click on the
Inbox.

Click on
Outlook’s default mail message. (If you don’t see a default mail
message, take the “Welcome to Microsoft Outlook.msg” file in the
Sample Files folder, and drag and drop it into your inbox.)

Once the
message is selected, right-click and choose
Open.
|
|
|
|
|

|
In the new
window, click Edit
and click on Edit Message.
|
|
|
|
|

|
In the first
line, type Ignore this e-mail message.
|
|
|
|
|

|
Click
File
and choose Close.
Click Yes
when asked if you want to save the file.
|

|
|
|

|
Back in the
Inbox, your message should still be selected. Click
Tools
and choose Organize.
|

|
|
|

|
Click on the
Using Colours
tab. Fill out the fields so that your window looks like this:

(The full
text of the third box reads Outlook Business Contact Manager
Team)
Then click
Apply Colour.

|
|
9.
|
Close the
organize pane using the x in its top right hand corner.
|
|
|
|
|
10.
|
Right-click
on the message. Click on
Follow-up and click on
Purple Flag.
|
|
|
|
|
11.
|
Now press
the delete
key on your keyboard to delete the message.
