Lesson 2.4: Customizing E-Mail Messages

   

 

 

1.

Click on the Tools menu (from the main screen of Outlook) and click Options.

Click on the Mail Format tab.

 

 

3.

In the “Stationery and Fonts” box, click to select the Citrus Punch stationery. Click Apply and then OK.

 

 

4.

Click on the Actions menu and click New Mail Message.

 

 

5.

Make sure that HTML is selected as the mail format in the box next to options. Then, click the next to Options on the Standard toolbar and click E-mail signatures.

 

 

6.

In the title box, type My Signature.

 

 

7.

In the formatting options above the text box, choose Monotype Corsiva in the font drop-down, and then choose 14 for the size.

 

 

8.

Then, type your name in the text box. Press enter, and then type the name of your organization. Click OK.

 

 

9.

Click the next to Options on the Standard toolbar and click E-mail signatures.

 

 

10.

In the second drop-down at the bottom (Signature for New Messages), click the drop-down arrow and choose your new signature.

 

 

11.

Click OK, and then close your new mail message.
