Lesson 3.3: Using Tasks

   

 

Outlook’s Tasks folder is your to-do list. It allows you to create tasks, set priorities, and even set reminders so you don’t forget to do things!

 

Here’s an overview of the tasks window:

 

 

By now, this should look pretty familiar. We have the main menu and the standard toolbar at the top. Then, in the navigation pane, we have the list of current views. To the right, in the main part of the screen, is where the tasks list will be displayed.

 

To get to this Task window, do one of these actions:

-       Click Tasks in the Navigation Pane

-       Click the Go menu and click Tasks

-       Use the shortcut keys Ctrl + 4
