Make sure
Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 is open. Click on the
Notes
option in the navigation pane (it may show up as an icon at the
bottom of the pane).

Use the
Ctrl + N
shortcut to open a new note.

Type This
is a sample note.

Close the
note window.

Right-click
on the note we just created, click
Colour,
and click Pink.

Click the
New
button on the standard toolbar to open another new note.
