Lesson 4.4: Using Views

   

 

 

The easiest way to sort contact, note, and task items is to use the views list in the navigation pane. All you have to do is click on the view you want and it changes.

 

Here’s a list of views that you can pick from in the navigation pane:

-       Mail:

o   Messages

o   Messages with Auto-Preview (where the first three lines of the message are displayed in the message list, underneath the subject)

o   Last Seven Days

o   Unread Messages

o   Sent To

o   Message Timeline

-       Contacts:

o   Address Cards

o   Detailed Address Cards

o   Phone List

o   By Category

o   By Company

o   By Location

o   By Follow-Up Flag

-       Notes:

o   Icons

o   Notes List

o   Last Seven Days

o   By Category

o   By Colour

-       Tasks:

o   Simple List

o   Detailed List

o   Active Tasks

o   Next Seven Days

o   Overdue Tasks

o   By Category

o   By Assignment

o   By Person Responsible

o   Completed Tasks

o   Tasks Timeline

-       Journal:

o   By Type

o   By Contact

o   By Category

o   By Entry List

o   Last Seven Days

o   Phone Calls

-       Calendar:

o   Day/Week/Month

o   Day/Week/Month View with AutoPreview

o   Active Appointments

o   Events

As you can see, these views can be pretty useful for organizing your information.
