Lesson 2.2: Using Links

   

 

A linked file is a separate file source that is connected or linked to a presentation. PowerPoint also gives you the ability to link partial or entire files. With a linked file you can update the source file automatically or manually, and remove source files at any time. By copying source files or inserting an object you will create a link between two documents represented by a small icon located on the presentation slide. Links are used to decrease the size of the presentation file.
