Select the
slide to create a New Embedded Object. |

Go to
Insert, Select
Object. |

Create New
will already be selected.
Select the
format or Object Type to
create the source file.

Click
OK.
Note:
This will bring you back to the presentation, create the
document. |

When
finished click outside the box. |

|

|

Copy
or Cut the
Partial document you want to
embed. |

Go to your
PowerPoint presentation.
Note:
It is always best to have the required slide ready. |

Go to
Edit, Select
Special Paste. |

|

|

Select
Paste.
Note:
if you want the embedded document to be represented by an icon,
check the display as icon box. |

Select the
format/object type you
want to embed the document with. |

Click
OK. |

Open your
presentation to embed an Entire
file. |

|
|
|

Go to
Insert, Select
Object. |

Select
Create from file. |
|

15. |
Click
Browse, locate your file.
Note:
Do not check the Link box that will link the file, not embed. |

Select
OK. |

To make
edit or make changes on
the embedded file double click
on the image or icon. This will bring up the source file, for
you to make changes. |

Click
outside the box to return to normal slide view. |
