Lesson 3.4: Online Meetings

   

 

 

The first step we need to do is enter user information.

 

1.

Go to Tools, Scroll to Online Collaboration, Select Schedule Meeting.

 

Note: the NetMeeting dialog box will open.

 

 

2.

Enter your information and Server name.

 

 

3.

Enter: Email addresses, Subject and Location Start and End time.

 

 Note: The Meeting window also comes with a scheduler, Select Scheduling to find an appropriate time in you work schedule.

 

 

 

4.

Click Send.

 

 

5.

To Start an Unscheduled Meeting, Go to Online Collaboration Select Meet Now.

 

 

6.

Select participants name.

 

 

 

7.

From the toolbar select call.

 

 

 

 

 

8.

By looking at the Online toolbar the participants that have accepted will be listed.

 

 

9.

Let us start our online meeting about the document you have written to incorporate with the presentation.

 

Send Participants document.

 

 

10.

Go to File, Scroll to Send to Online Meeting Participants.

 

 

11.

Open chat area to see responses.

 

 

12.

One of the Participants would like to make changes to the document you just sent.

 

To open editing for all user select  from the toolbar.

 

 

13.

Click Accept in the NetMeeting dialog box.

 

 

 

14.

A different participant has an idea but needs to visually show an illustration.

 

Open the Whiteboard  on the toolbar.

 

 

15.

Once the meeting agenda has been accomplished, End Meeting.
