The Format Painter allows you to copy the formatting of text (bold, italics, underline, colour, borders, fill, etc.) and apply it elsewhere. You can save time creating a consistent look throughout your presentation by formatting text once and then using the Format Painter to apply the formatting to each slide you want to keep the same look.

To use the format painter, first click the paintbrush icon () on the toolbar. Then, select the text that you want the new formatting to apply to.
