To delete any placeholder, click on the placeholder edge and press the Delete key on the keyboard. The placeholder deletes all of the changes you had made and reverts to its original size and location. Now, press the Delete key on the keyboard again. Now the placeholder is completely deleted from the slide. (There are several ways to restore this placeholder or add your own content and you will learn about them in the following chapters.)
