You can emphasize your text with the bold, italics, underline, and shadow formatting features in PowerPoint. Bold increases text darkness, making it easy to see and find. Italicized text becomes slanted, bringing emphasize to the text. Underlined text draws the eye to the text and increases its visibility. Shadowed font gives text subtle emphasis, mostly used for titles and paragraph headings. All of these effects are available from the formatting toolbar.
