Lesson 1.5: Working With Organization Charts

   

 

 

We want to add some context to our Funland Visitors slideshow, so we’re going to create an organizational chart.

1.

Open Lesson 1.5 from the Exercise Files folder.

 

 

 

2.

Click Slide 3.

Click the Insert menu and click Diagram.

 

 

 

3.

Select Organization Chart. Click OK.

 

 

 

4.

Select the bottom middle shape. Click the Insert Shape button and click Subordinate. Repeat the process.

 

 

 

5.

Your organization chart should look like this:

 

 

 

 

6.

Add text to each shape so that your chart looks like this:

 

 

 

7.

Now our chart is complete, but it’s not very fun. Click the AutoFormat button to open the style gallery.

 

 

 

8.

Choose any style and click OK.

 

 

 

9.

Save your presentation as Lesson 1.5 Completed.
