Animation is what makes a presentation creative and interesting. Visual effect is the key to getting a viewer’s attention. The Animation task pane makes adding special effects simple. Everything you need; from timing slide advancement, to picture entrance and exit effects, to setting the speed and sound for each slide, is all in the Animation task pane. The Animation Task Pane has a variety of effects that range from subtle to exciting and offers both slide and picture enhancements.

To apply all of these effects, we’ll use the Custom Animation task pane. To show it, click the Format menu and click Custom Animation.
