By adding entrance and exit effects you can have any of your pictures fly onto and off the slide, or slide in and dissolve away.

First, select the object that you want the effect to apply to. Then, in the Custom Animation task pane, click Add Effects. Next, click Entrance or Exit, and choose the specific effect that you want.

 

 

You will then see a preview of your effect. Once the effect has been applied, it will be listed in the Custom Animation task pane where you can edit or remove it.
