Adding emphasis to a picture is the same as animating it. Once it has arrived onto the slide it can blink or twirl, just enough to attract attention. Emphasis effects can range from subtle or exciting effects.

Adding emphasis effects to an object is similar to adding an entrance or exit effect. First, select the object that you want the effect to apply to. Then, in the Custom Animation task pane, click Add Effects. Next, click Emphasis, and choose the specific effect that you want.

 

 

Once again, you will see a preview, and you will be able to edit the effect in the task pane.
