Project’s Network Diagram view is also accessible from the View menu. Here’s what it looks like:

It shows you each task in a separate box. If tasks are connected, you will see lines connecting them. Summary tasks are shown as trapezoids, while tasks with no dependents are shown as rectangles. Tasks that are overdue or critical appear in red.

Although the interface may be unfamiliar, you can still create and edit tasks in this view. To create a new task, click the Insert menu and click New Task. To edit a task, double-click it.
