So far, we haven’t actually seen this mysterious code displayed in Project. The easiest way to view this code is to first enter a table view, such as Gantt Chart or Resource Sheet. Then, right-click on the column headers and click Insert Column.

Now, from the dialog box, choose WBS for the field name.

Note that you can also choose the field title, alignment, and width in this dialog.

You can also use the Best Fit button to fit the column to its contents. Once you’ve clicked Best Fit or OK, the column will be inserted to the left of where your cursor was.
