If you try to save a file using an extension that does not start with “.mp,” the Export wizard will launch.

Once you click Next to this screen, you will be asked what you want to export. Typically, this will be Selected Data.

Once again, we’ll be asked whether we want to use an existing or new map.

And, we’ll be asked what map we want to use.

Then, we’ll be asked what type of data we want to include. If you’re using an existing map, it’s best not to change these settings.

Then, you will be asked to confirm the mapping. Usually, you won’t have to change these settings either.

Once you click Next, you will have the same options to save your export map or finish the export.
