Open Microsoft Project

Open 3-4 Sample
from the Sample Files folder.

Click the

menu, choose
Toolbars, and ensure
Project Guide
is checked.

Track
button on the Project Guide.

In the Tracking task
pane, choose
Check the progress of the project.

Set the status date to
April 1, 2005.

Now, let’s see what
tasks need our attention. From the
Filter
menu in the Task Pane, choose
Late Tasks.

Now, let’s go a step
further and group them by a
finish date interval.

You will be prompted to
choose an interval; choose
2 weeks and
click Apply.

Close the Tracking task pane.
Now we can easily see
which tasks need our attention the most.

Save your project as 3-4
Completed.
