One way to resolve resource conflicts is to reassign resources. Reassigning resources is easy. Just open the Task Information dialog, delete the resource that you don’t want to use, and select a new one.

For example, we’ve over-allocated our CEO, Bob Finkleman. Let’s reassign some of the work to his assistant, Shawn.

Now Bob is only doing 10% of the work, while Shawn is doing the rest. Now, if we look at our resource graph, Bob is no longer over-allocated.
