When using Publisher’s templates you can view and edit the master pages, but are unable to delete masters created by Publisher. From the View menu, uncheck Ignore Master Page, and select Master Page. In master page mode, you can change or add to the publication by applying elements to the master for example applying a background and font scheme, to create a new master page.
