Single or two-page spreads can be applied to master pages. Deciding which spread to use depends on how the publication is going to be viewed. For example, if the publication is going to be viewed page by page then you should only use the single master page. If the publication will be viewed as a two-page spread then two-page master pages should be used. (When creating Web publications only single page spreads are available.)
