Applying master to pages to a variety of pages can be done with single and two-page spreads. Under Format, select Apply Master Pages, then select Apply Page Range. In the task pane select the master page you would like to apply, and then indicate the pages to apply that master too, by selecting All pages, Current Page, or by entering in individual pages.
