The AutoShape toolbar lists the AutoShapes available for a publication. AutoShapes range from Connector lines to mini Stars/Banners and Callouts, and can be resized, coloured, flipped and rotated. Shapes usually come with an adjustment handle; a yellow diamond that allows you to adjust the appearance of a feature on the shape. At the bottom of the AutoShape menu is the More AutoShapes link which brings you to the Clip Art task pane for more options. Each AutoShape category menu can be dragged out in the form of a toolbar to select and change AutoShapes more efficiently.
