The following exercise is a step by step example on
how to add picture from a scanner/camera and how to insert pictures from a
file.

Open a
Blank Publication.
 |

Select the
Insert Picture from a Scanner or
Camera icon.

OR
Go to
Insert, point to
Picture, select
From Scanner or Camera.

Select the
Device (scanner or camera)
holding the picture.

|

Select
Custom Insert. |

|
|
|
5. |
Depending on the device
you are using, scanning options should appear for you to preview
and scan.

Scan your
photo.
 |

|
|
|

Select
the Insert Picture icon
from the Objects toolbar.
OR
Go to
Insert, point to
Picture, select
From File.

Locate File/Photo and
double click on the photo,
or select Insert.

Go to
View, select
Pictures.
 |

The photo I scanned was
being viewed as Fast resize and zoom; therefore, I will select
Detailed Display to clarify my photo.
