In this exercise, we will adjust objects within a
publication using the Rotate and Flip toolbar, the Align or Distribute
toolbar and the Nudge toolbar.
Begin by re-opening Lesson 1.3.

Select the
object. |

Select
Arrange from the main
menu, point to Rotate and Flip,
select the bar at the top
of the menu, and drag out.

With the object still
selected, select Rotate Left 90°.

Select
Rotate Right 90°.
|
|
|
|
|
5. |
Close Rotate and Flip toolbar. |

Go to the
Arrange menu and
drag out the
Align or Distribute toolbar.

|

Select
Relative to Margin Guides.
 |
|
|
|
|
8. |
Select
Align Center.
 |
|
|
|
|
9. |
Select
Distribute Vertically.
 |
|
|
|
|
10. |
Close Align
or Distribute toolbar. |

Go to the
Arrange menu;
point to Snap, select
To Objects.

Note:
Selecting the snap options turns the snap command on. To turn
off the snap command clear the selected options. |

Select object and hold
cursor over the object until it is ready to move.
 |

|
|
13. |
Drag the
object until the edge connects or snaps to the ruler, guide, or
object’s edge.
