This exercise will display how to adjust and edit a
table in a publication using the commands listed in the Table menu.
Begin by Opening Lesson 3.2.

Select the table, go to
Table, and select
Table AutoFormat.

Select
List with Title 2.

Select
Options,
and uncheck Borders.

Select
OK. |

Select a
table corner and resize
by clicking and dragging the corner towards the center.

Click in the
first cell in row 3.

Go to
Table, point to
Insert →
Row Below.

Select the
Days of the Week.
 |

Go to
Table →
Fill Down.

Select the
row you just filled.

Go to
Delete →
Rows.

Highlight the
empty row.

Table →
Merge Cells. |

In the first column
place your cursor over the right
cell edge; click and drag to resize cell width.
