With a flyer template we will create a Mail Merge
using existing mail recipients and construct a greeting line for each
publication.
Begin by Opening Lesson 4.1.

Go to
View →
Task Pane.

Select the
Other Task Panes Menu →Mail
and Catalogue Merge.
 |

|
|
|
3. |
Make sure Mail Merge is
selected and click Next: Select
data source.

|

Make sure the
Use Existing list option
is selected.

|
|

Select
Browse.
 |
|
|
|
|
6. |
Locate and
Open data source.
 |

|
|
|
7. |
Check or
uncheck recipients for the
mail merge.

Select
OK. |

Click
Next: Create your publication
at the bottom of the task pane.

Select
Greeting Line from the
Create your Publication area.
 |

|
|
|

Adjust the
greeting line to your specifications.
 |

|

Select
OK. |
|

A text box with the
greeting line will be inserted into the publication. Position
the text box.

Note:
You may also format the greeting line from within the
publication, such as changing the font, font size, colour, etc. |

Select
Next: Preview your Publication.

Preview
publication.

Select the
Forward or Backward arrows
to preview each publication.

Select
Next: Complete the Merge.

Under
Merge, Select
Print.
