Turn your computer on. |

If necessary, click your
user name to get to the desktop.

Double left click on the
time found in the bottom right
corner of your screen.

In the Date and Time window,
make sure the current date and time is correct. If it is incorrect,
use the calendar
and the arrows
to adjust it.

Click
OK. |

Click the
Start menu and click
Control Panel. If you see
Sounds and Audio Devices, click it. If you see
Sounds, Speech, and Audio
Devices, double-click it, and then click the
Sounds and Audio Devices link. |

Adjust the slider from
low to
high, and then back to its
original position.

Close all open windows using
the red X in the top right
hand corner of each window. |

|
|

Click the Start menu and
click Turn off Computer. Then,
click Shut Down.
