We use the Add or Remove Programs window to manage our installed programs in Windows XP. In its default view it lists installed programs in alphabetical order by program name. You can also use the Sort By feature (top right hand corner) to sort by Name, Frequency of Use, or Date Last Used.

If you sort by different categories you will notice the information displayed for each program changes. This is to reflect the criteria that you are sorting by. You can click on a program to view more information.
