Software Applications

   

 

 

In this lesson, we are going to install the Microsoft Word viewer as a sample application. (This is a free download provided by Microsoft.)

 

1.

Navigate to your Exercise Files folder, Section 3.

 

 

2.

Double-click on wdviewer.exe.

 

 

 

3.

Walk through the steps to install the application.

 

 

 

4.

Once the installation is complete, click the Start menu and click All Programs. You should see Microsoft Office Word Viewer 2003 listed.

 

 

 

5.

Click the Start menu again and click Control Panel.

 

 

6.

Click (or double-click) Add or Remove Programs.

 

 

 

7.

Scroll down in the list and click Microsoft Office Word Viewer 2003.

 

 

 

8.

Click Remove.

 

 

9.

Click Yes to the prompt.

 

 

 

10.

Close all open windows once the process is complete.
