Lesson 4.2: Managing Video

   

 

 

Videos on your computer can come from many sources just like pictures. This could include a digital video camera, memory card, or Internet download. Like the My Documents or My Pictures folder, Windows XP has created a My Videos folder for you to store all your videos in. It is a good idea to store your videos in the My Videos folder for better organization which also makes it much easier when you have many videos.

 

Unlike pictures though, video files can take up large amounts of disk space. This means that you will be able to hold very few videos compared to pictures. For example, an average picture can be from 10K-50K+ in size, where a video can be 10,000K-500,000K+ in size.
