Open Microsoft
Office Word 2003.
Open the Stop Sign
document from the Sample Files folder. |

Click the
black rectangle.
Click the
Draw
menu. Click
Order
and click
Send to Back.

Click to
select both parts of
the stop
sign.
Click the
Draw
menu and click Group.
 |

|

Take the stop sign
and drag it to the middle of the page. (You may want to zoom out
to do this.)

Oops! We left a part
behind. Because we moved the stop sign outside the drawing
canvas, we must move the text box first and then re-group our
objects.
Drag the text box
so it’s back in the stop sign. |

Now, select both the
text box and the
stop sign.
Click the
Draw
menu and click
Group.
 |
|
|
|
|

Click the
Insert
menu and click
Object.
Click
Bitmap Image
and click OK.
 |

|
|
|

Click the
Edit
menu and click
Edit Colours.
Pick a
green
colour and click
OK.

Click the
Airbrush
icon on the left hand side.
Paint
some grass into the object.

Click
outside the object
window
to close the Paint screen and return to Word. |

|

Place your cursor
beside the new object.
Press the
Enter
key four times; this should move the object down.

|
|

Now,
drag the stop sign
until it is in the grass.

|
|
|
13. |
Now, click in the
middle of the page to highlight the
drawing canvas.
Press the
Delete
key on your keyboard.
