If you would prefer, you can also make your macro appear as a toolbar button. To do this, click the Toolbars icon in the Record Macro Dialog:
Once you click that button, this dialog will open:
You can then take any of your macros listed in the Commands section (on the right hand side) and drag and drop them onto a toolbar or in a menu.
Once you click Close, you will be returned to your document and recording will have begun.
What if you’ve already created a macro and forgotten to add it to a toolbar? There’s an easy way to perform this command after creating a macro. First, we’re going to click the Tools menu and choose Customize. In this dialog, we’ll click the Commands tab.
In the Categories section, scroll to the bottom and click Macros. Your macros will then appear in the Commands section.
You can now drag and drop the macros from the commands tab to the menu or toolbar where you want them.
