Lesson 1.4: Other Macro Tasks

   

 

 

1.

Open Microsoft Office Word 2003. (If Word is already open, create a blank document.)

Click the Tools menu, choose Macro, and click Macros.

In the Macros dialog, click Organize.

 

 

 

5.

In the Organizer, click Close File in the templates section.

 

 

 

6.

Click Open File and browse to the Exercise Files folder.

Open Macro Template.dot.

 

 

 

7.

 Select NewMacros and click Copy.

 

 

 

8.

Click Close.

 

 

9.

Click the Tools menu and click Customize.

 

 

10.

In the Customize dialog box, click Keyboard.

 

 

 

11.

Select Document6 in the Save Changes In dialog box.

Scroll to the bottom of the Categories list and click Macros.

In the Macros list, choose Macro1.

 

 

12.

Click to place your cursor in the Press new shortcut key text box.

Press the Alt key and F12 at the same time.

Click the Assign button.

Click Close.

 

 

 

13.

Press Alt and F12 to run this macro.

 

 

 

14.

Close Microsoft Office Word 2003.
