Open Microsoft Office Word 2003. (If Word is already open, create a blank document.)

Change your font size, type, and colour to anything you want.

Center the first line and type My Leopard Site.

Press Enter twice and type:

Leopards are one of the big cats. There are many types of leopards, including black leopards, clouded leopards, and snow leopards. Many of these types are endangered, so it is important to educate the public about saving them.

Click the File menu and click Save As.

Enter the file name as Leopards and the file type as .htm.

Click the Change Title button.

Enter My Leopard Site in the dialog box.

Click OK.

Click Save.

In the document, press Enter twice so your cursor is two lines below the last paragraph. Type: Fill out our short survey to help us build our site!

Press Enter.

Type this text:

Have you ever visited a zoo where leopards are?

Press Enter.

Type Yes.

Press Enter.

Type No.

Click to place your cursor after the word Yes. Press the spacebar three times.

Click the Checkbox icon on the Web Tools toolbar. (If you don’t see the Web tools toolbar, click the View menu and choose Toolbars. Then, click Web Tools.)

Repeat the process for the word No.

 

 

 

8.

Press the Enter key twice (so your cursor is two lines below the No checkbox) and type this text:

How likely would you be to take a safari to visit leopards?

Press Enter.

Click the List Box icon on the Web Tools toolbar.

 

 

 

9.

Click to select the list area and click Properties.

In the DisplayValue field, type Very Likely;Somewhat Likely;Not At All Likely.

Close the properties.

 

 

 

10.

Press the Enter key twice (so your cursor is two lines below the list checkbox) and type this text:

How do you feel about donating money to help wildlife?

Press Enter.

 

 

 

11.

Press Enter.

Click the Text Area icon on the Web Tools toolbar.

 

 

 

12.

Press Enter twice.

Center the line.

Click the Submit button on the Web tools toolbar.

 

 

 

13.

Press Enter twice.

Type: I hope you will come back to visit us again. Please contact me if you have any comments or questions.

 

 

 

14.

Select the text contact me and press Ctrl and K.

In the Insert Hyperlink dialog, click the E-Mail Addresses tab.

For the e-mail address, type emily@leopards.com.

For the Subject, type Saving Leopards.

Click OK.

Save your document and close Microsoft Office Word 2003.
