There can be a lot more to Advanced Saving Options than picking a location, entering the file name, and clicking Save. You can save documents using a number of different file formats, which can be useful if you’re going to edit them later using a program other than Word. You can also set file security, like passwords. If you haven’t saved your files and your computer encounters a problem, you can also recover files using Auto-Recover.
