Lesson 1.5: Toolbar Specifics

   

 

 

Our last two toolbars are both for managing specific types of documents. The first toolbar in this group is the outlining toolbar, which looks like this:

 

 

Let’s take a look at each command.

 

Promotes the selected text to Heading 1.

Promotes the selected text one level.

Indicates what level the selected text is at. You can click this menu to choose a different level.

Demotes the selected text one level.

Demotes the selected text to Body Text.

Updates the Table of Contents.

Takes you to the Table of Contents for this document.

 

Our next document management toolbar helps you review a document, so it’s called the reviewing toolbar.

 

 

All of these commands are new, so let’s go through them.

 

Pick what you want to display for review from this menu.

Choose what components to show in the document.

Go to the previous change/comment.

Go to the next change/comment.

Accept changes.

Reject changes or delete comments.

Insert a comment.

Add highlighting; click the down arrow to pick a colour.

Track changes.

Show the reviewing pane.
